Tools Needed For Composite Nut
- Small Phillips Screwdriver
- 2 mm Hexagonal (Allen) Wrench ( Rear Mount Only)
- Block your tremolo. We use a tremolo back plate.
- Remove existing nut clamps
- De-Tune/Loosen the strings at the headstock so that the strings can be completely moved to the side (3 per side)
- Remove the existing nut
- Remove the two top or rear mounting screws
- Leave any shims in place
- Replace nut base with the Lok-N-Roll, making sure the base is flush and extending over the fingerboard
- For "Top Mounting", Screw the Lok-N-Roll down using the enclosed Screws (Don't use square nuts)
- For Rear mounting, place the square nuts in the Lok-N-Roll, and use your screws
- Place strings over the Lok-N-Roll into the grooves
- Tighten/Lock your tuners, and tune the strings at the headstock
- Remove the blocking you used at the tremolo
- Fine Tune
